Twenty-five years beneath
the waterline. Repair and maintenance for the commercial fleets that move the Mediterranean.

New Wave Marine is a commercial ship repair and maintenance company operating from Mandra Attikis, Greece. Owner-led by engineers with twenty-five years on the docks, we serve operators who measure us in vessels returned to service, not invoices issued.

Built on a single principle: do the work properly, the first time.

New Wave Marine was founded by engineers who came up through the Piraeus shipyards in an era when craftsmanship was the only standard available. Twenty-five years later, the philosophy hasn't moved. Every repair we deliver is one we'd be willing to put our own names on — because, in fact, we already do.

We are deliberately a working company, not a brokerage. Our owners spend their days on board the vessels we service, not in offices. When a chief engineer needs a straight answer about a steering gear or a generator at three in the morning, they speak to someone who has lifted the parts before.

From our base in Mandra Attikis we serve commercial operators across the Aegean and wider Mediterranean — bulk carriers, tankers, ferries, RO/RO vessels, and the working ships that quietly keep the region moving.

01 / Heritage
"Greek shipyard tradition, applied to modern commercial vessels."
02 / Standard
"Owner-led on every job. No layers between you and the work."

Full-spectrum repair, maintenance, and conversion services.

We work alongside class societies, owners' representatives, and crew to deliver scopes ranging from running repairs to major machinery overhauls. All work is documented, traceable, and delivered to the standard your flag and class require.

A clear process. No surprises.

Commercial vessels do not have time for ambiguity. Our project workflow is built around predictability — clear scope, honest pricing, and tight communication from inquiry through delivery.

01

Initial assessment

We attend the vessel, review the scope with the chief engineer or superintendent, and inspect the actual condition — not the assumed one.

02

Detailed quotation

Itemised, transparent pricing with labour, materials, and timeline. We tell you what we will do and what we cannot do, both in writing.

03

Coordinated execution

Owner-led teams work in coordination with crew, class, and any third parties. Progress is reported daily; problems are surfaced immediately.

04

Documentation & handover

Full job reports, test certificates, and class documentation issued at completion. We remain available for any follow-up the work may require.

Vessels we know by heart.

Twenty-five years of commercial work means familiarity with the specific systems, quirks, and survey requirements of every major vessel category operating in Greek and Mediterranean waters.
